What is Mowl?

Mowl is an email platform built in Hungary. You can send newsletters and campaigns to your subscribers, send transactional emails (such as order confirmations) through the API from the Pro plan, and see opens, clicks and unsubscribes after every send.

How is it different from other email marketing tools?

You pay for the emails you send, not for the number of subscribers, so a large list you only email occasionally stays affordable. Your data is stored on servers in Europe, within the EU.

How can I try Mowl?

We are launching in Hungary first, and international sign-ups open soon. Email us at hello@mowl.email and we will let you know when you can start. There will be a free plan to try it out.

Is it worth it for a small list?

Yes. Because pricing is based on the emails you send, a small list stays cheap, and the free plan covers 500 emails a month for up to 2,500 subscribers.

What if I have a very large list?

Our largest plan covers 150,000 emails a month for up to 1,500,000 subscribers, and you can buy credit for occasional bigger sends. If you need more, email us at hello@mowl.email and we will talk it through.

What happens if I run out of my monthly quota?

You can buy credit and keep sending. Credit is valid for 12 months from purchase and does not expire at the end of the month. In any one month you can send at most twice your plan’s monthly quota.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in Europe, within the European Union. Your subscribers’ data does not leave the EU.

Can I change plans later?

Yes, at any time. Credit you have bought and not yet used stays on your account when you change plans.

Can I bring my list from another provider?

Yes, you can import your subscribers from a CSV file.
